The First Signs of Spring
For some people, it's a tiny green crocus creeping up from the soil that announces the coming of spring. For others, it's the first yellow branch of forsythia. But for me, it's the faded blue holes worn into the knees of the kids' jeans, the very jeans that were dark, crisp, and even a little too long in September. I love seeing those faded blue holes. That's the first sign of spring for me.
