Mrs. Fields Secrets Crockpot Candy With the holidays fast approaching, this recipe will come in handy over and over again. These candies are deliciously simple to put together and a favorite of all ages. I love to set them out at a party or package them up as a sweet gift for friends or neighbors. Put everything in your slow cooker and let it melt on low heat for a few hours, then stir it all together and scoop into cupcake or candy liners. It's that easy!

Crockpot Candy adapted from Trisha Yearwood

3 1/2 cups dry roasted peanuts 4 ounces German's sweet chocolate 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 1/2 pounds white almond bark Directions Put the peanuts in the bottom of a 4-quart slow cooker. Layer the chocolate over the peanuts, beginning with the sweet chocolate, then the chocolate chips and finally the almond bark. Cook on low for 3 hours. Do not stir. After 3 hours, stir until smooth. Use an ice cream or cookie dough scoop to portion mixture into cupcake or candy liners. Allow the candy to cool completely before serving. Makes approximately 60 candies. HINT: Play around with the recipe by adding fun additions like shredded coconut, marshmallows, candies or caramel. Simply stir them in after the cooking time.
