Calling all home bakers and cookie gurus! We're excited to announce an incredible new contest,
Chocolate Chip Cookies Reinvented, that will allow you to flex your baking braun and win some bragging rights and prizes in the process!
As you know, the staple product of our company here at
Mrs. Fields is our incredible classic chocolate chip cookie. (As Mary Poppins would say, it's practically perfect in every way.) But this contest isn't about a classic chocolate chip cookie, it's about chocolate chip cookies
reinvented. Like the reinvention of a classic car or the remake of a classic song, we're dreaming about the deliciously original ways you might give chocolate chip cookies an extreme makeover: delicious edition.
And the prizes? Oh, they are grand! Our favorite cookie reinvention will win first place and a
cash prize of $250! The winner will also win a bakeware package valued at $100 and have their recipe featured on the
Mrs. Fields Secrets blog to share with our readers.
Four runners-up will win a
bakeware package valued at $100, which includes a baking pan with cover, cooling rack, heat resistant spatula, stainless steel measuring spoon set, Mrs. Fields apron and oven mitt set, and a Mrs. Fields Cookie Book autographed by Debbi Fields! The runners-up will also have their recipes featured on the
Mrs. Fields Secrets blog.
To participate:
- Submit your original recipe by midnight, June 30, 2011 ET to mrsfields@mrsfieldssecrets.com, along with a photograph of your cookies, and a sentence or two about yourself. Use subject line: COOKIE REINVENTION RECIPE.
- Entrants must be 18 years or older.
- Recipes will be reviewed and tested by the Mrs. Fields Secrets blog staff. Top contending recipes will be reproduced in our home kitchens and taste-tested by our staff, after which a first place winner and four runners-up will be chosen.
- Winners will be notified via email and later announced on the Mrs. Fields Secrets blog.
And now for the fine print:
The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and all other territories), who are 18 years of age or older. One entry per household. No purchase necessary. Deadline to enter is midnight June 30, 2011 ET. Maximum of one (1) prize per household.
By entering the contest you represent to Mrs. Fields that your entry is an original recipe, that you are not violating any copyright or infringing on any third party rights to the recipe and you are giving Mrs. Fields, its designee, and anyone it may authorize permission to display or use your recipe and your name on its and/or its affiliates’ marketing materials and social media. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
By entering the contest, you agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Mrs. Fields, its affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, divisions, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any and all claims and damages whether direct or indirect, which may be due to or arise out of your use and submission of the recipe, participation in the contest or any portion thereof, or the acceptance, use/misuse or possession of prizes. By entering, you agree to the official rules and to the decisions of the contest judges, including Mrs. Fields, whose decisions are final and binding.
