One of the things I'd like to do here is give you some behind-the-scenes insight into how our gift catalog comes together. Ronnie Kell is the Creative and Merchandising Director, the creative genius behind our product line and catalog. He oversees everything from sketch to final product. I asked him to share with you his inspirations behind the look and feel of the fall 2009 gift catalog that hit mailboxes this week, and this is what he had to say:
Fall is one of my favorite times of year. The air is chillier, the leaves are changing, and colors are bright and warm. Fall invites you to settle in, curl up and enjoy the comfort of being home: bright fireplaces, the scent of spice, colors of persimmons, squash, straw, woods, and mums—these images are a feast, like autumn on a plate.
At Mrs. Fields® Gifts, we have brought autumn into our products to give you the warm feelings of home. Cookies are a warm reminder of home and when you ship any of our gifts, your loved ones can enjoy the luxury of home, no matter where they are.
