- Store ice cream containers inside a Ziploc bag to keep ice cream soft and ready to scoop right out of the freezer.
- Place a wet sponge inside a Ziploc bag and freeze it for a handy ice pack that won't drip or leak as it thaws.
- Freeze candles before burning them to get a longer, more even burn.
- Pour homemade chicken stock into ice cube trays or muffin tins to make easy anytime-use chicken stock at the ready.
- Store water bottles in the freezer. They keep the freezer efficient, plus they can be used as ice packs in a cooler, or a continual sip of ice water on a hot day.
