I ordered this using a $20 store credit code I had and sent it to myself as a gift. :P I decided to get this because it was different from the standard cookie gift box, plus it had 3 really good reviews (although I suspected at the time that they might have been planted by the company V Chocolates that manufactures this item...or maybe it was really just that good!!) The almond toffee was beautifully wrapped in a box about 6"x6"x2" (FYI, because I asked Cust. Svc. about this when I was initially planning on sending it as an actual gift to someone else). The toffee itself was de-li-cious. It's soooo smooth, rich, and buttery. The almond topping is almost a bit like a crumble in that there are almond chunks, but also powdered almond meal. There was no nutritional information provided, which may or may not be a good thing depending on how you look at it. :)

I tried this toffee at Christmas. It was the best I've ever tasted. I tried to order the one pound box for Valentine's day but by the time I tried to order it you were out. I will be checking back soon.

I enjoy most toffee, but this toffee is (dare I say) "delicately flaky" with ZERO risk of breaking a tooth. It is effortless to eat and melts in my mouth. I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse that I only bought a one-pound box. I could live quite happily on this toffee for quite some time!!
