Recipe: Jalapeño Cheese Ball

 

At the office, we celebrated National Cheese Ball Day (What? You don’t celebrate it?) with a little recipe contest among our employees. The winning recipe was this rich, cheesy, spicy ball of wonderfulness from our very own Theresa Peterson. It’s absolutely delicious!

Jalapeño Cheese Ball

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup shredded pepperjack cheese
1/2 green bell pepper, minced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup chopped cilantro or chives

Directions
In a medium bowl combine all the cheeses, bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and cayenne pepper. Form mixture into a ball and roll in chopped cilantro or chives. Serve with your favorite crackers.
