  1. I would like to thank my mom for always being there for me.

  2. Emilee

I want to thank my Mom for her countless years of being a great example to me, for teaching me, for running over to my house at any hour when I need her, and for being a loving friend. She never fails me!

  3. Jocelyn

I want to thank my Mom for being wonderful…especially to my grandparents (her parents)! She goes to their house almost every day and spends two to three hours helping them take care of themselves and their house. This is making it possible for them to stay in their home as long as possible (as opposed to a rest home). My Mom has been doing this for a REALLY long time and she is wonderful! I know my grandparents appreciate her also!

  4. Kenzie Schoelman

I would like to thank my best friend Amanda for being so caring, thoughtful, and kind. We have been friends for 21 years (since we were 2 years old at Mother’s Day Out!). Amanda truly has the warmest and most genuine soul I have ever had the privilege of knowing.

  5. Toni Thayn

I want to thank my hubby, Bill. He has been there for me, through thick and thin, sickness and health, he’s held my hair back while I experienced morning sickness, walked the floors with our crying babies, surprised me with flowers just because and still made it to his 2, sometimes 3 jobs and always with a smile on his face. We have 3 wonderful little boys and I hope they turn out just like him :D

  6. Tawana Sampson

I would like to thank my mother, Catherine Sampson. The reason why is just because she is the greatest mother in the world.

  7. Janet Williams

I would like to nominate my mother, Angela Clark. My parents met while my father was in the army and stationed in Germany, her native country. She sacrificed leaving her family, home and everything that she knew to be with my father and start her own family here in the US. Her life has been hard at times including living in a refugee camp with her family when she was a child. She has been here in the US since 1972 and received her US Citizenship in 2006, which she is very proud of. I can’t imagine how hard it must have been to leave her family & her country to start her own, knowing very little English at the time. She may not win a prize, but I am very proud to tell just a small part of her story.

  8. Amanda

I think everyone needs a thank you from time to time, but there is no amount of thanking that could express my or my husband’s graditude for our parents. Words fall short. We just hope and dream of becoming such loving and giving parents ourselves someday.

  9. Jill Wallace

I would like to thank my mom, Lane Vogel, for being the rock for me throughout my entire life. Regardless of my mistakes, bad choices, wanderings, she has been steadfast in her support and love for my whole family.

  10. Jennifer

I like so many others in this comment area would love to thank my mom. I recently had my first child and she has helped out so much. She was here with me for the whole process and has picked up all of my slack and so much more :) I am so thankful to have such a kind and loving mom!

  11. Kathy

Even though my mom is no longer with us, I am so thankful to her for teaching me the joy of cooking. I always enjoyed cooking with my mom, but when I was 18 I cooked my first Thanksgiving dinner on my own (with her direction of course). Little did I know she had bought a fresh turkey that year and had never cooked one and had no idea how to tell to me cook it so she improvised. To my relief everything turned out great. From making yummy snacks for my own kids to cooking wonderful meals for my whole family, she instilled something deep within me and I am grateful to have had her in my life. My youngest has caught the bug and loves to help me in the kitchen… part of my mom will live on forever! So, here is to my mom… how I love and miss her so.

  12. Angela

I would like to thank my friend Jennifer who has been there for me and my family when my daughter passed away last year. She helps to keep me sane! She is always there when I need to talk. I couldn’t have asked for a better friend!

  13. Diane

I would really like to thank my mother. Even though we live far apart she still is the best thing for me. She helps out in so many ways that I feel I should do more for her but I can’t right now. I miss her being close so we can do things together like we used to. So to my wonderful, very appreciated mother, Thank You for everything/all you do.

  14. Susan

I would like to thank my Mom. As a single parent she raised three girls to be strong, independent ladies. She never complained and always tried to give us the best she had to offer. When we were grown and even with health issues, she didn’t think twice about raising four of her grand-children when one of my sisters decided to “experience life”. My Mom is the most wonderful Mom that I could have ever been blessed with by God.

  15. Carol

Even though most of them are no longer with us, I’d like to thank my school teachers who taught me the fundamentals of living. Not a day goes by that I don’t use something I was taught all through school: math, English, history, science, etc.
They have one of the hardest jobs in the world and yet they touch so many lives. Thank you to all of my teachers for your unselfish devotion to teaching children and adults!

  16. Jackie Billups

I was always the “new girl” since my father’s job meant frequent moves to different states – sometimes as many as three moves in a year.

Each time, for the short time we were in a new city I always attended Sunday School and found such lovable, caring people who somehow keep me “grounded.”

Today, as a senior, I feel that I am definitely a “people person” with my appreciation going to them and, of course, my parents.

  17. Cruzana

There are so many people to be thankful to, but the most important ones in my life that has been there since day one is my parents. They have raise me to be the most loving, caring, person that I can be.They have stayed by my side when I was in bedrest with my first child. They were there to support me when the doctors told me my baby wouldnt make it in this world. The guide me thru the hard times and the good times. They supported me when I wanted to carry the baby full term. And when that day came to have my baby. Thats when a miracle happen, My baby made it alive!!!!

  23. Jennifer

I would like to thank my mother-in-law. Without her help with my 16 month old daughter I would have gone crazy. She helped me through those difficult colicky infant months and helped me build the confidence to be a wonderful mother. She loves to watch her granddaughter and my daughter loves spending time with her too!

  24. Mrs. Cindy Merrill

I would like to thank Sgt. Kimberly Munley from the bottom of my heart. Sheis a brave, wonderful young woman. My brother Mark is stationed at Fort Hood- and though he was on the base at the time of the shootings, he was, thank goodness, nowhere near the building where it occurred.

  25. Lisa

A big shoutout to my wonderful and always fabulous husband! I can’t not give enough thanks for him! Not only does he bring home the bacon, but he also fry’s it up in a pan, in addition to laundry during Sunday football games, and a quick home repair every now and then too. Thanks for always being there, and being fun to be with!

I would like to thank my children for teaching me what really matters in life. Everyday my children remind me what a special gift they are. They teach me about being kind, patient, loving, inquisitive, and fair. My boys remind me not to sweat the small stuff and appreciate all the gifts we already have.

  29. Sharon Thayer

I would like to thank my children for showing me the meaning of the word unconditional. I always knew I would love my children but I never knew the extent of a parents love until I had them. I am so honored and blessed to be a parent and now a grandparent. And I will love them thru all mistakes , bad choices and life styles even if I do not agree with their choices. That is a parents love and my life would not be complete without my children.

Cheryl has been an inspiration to my sad spirits that just seem to get worse. She’s always there for me even though she’s been through unemployment and serious health issues. She continuously insists on paying when we go out even though she has 3 boys at home and maintains such a positive attitude. Just yesterday she slipped $20 in my purse. She is seriously the best friend I have ever had in my entire life, and I can’t imagine my life without her. I know we only met 4 months ago, but she has been the kindest, most trustworthy, generous, incredible friend in the entire world. Growing up with extremely fickle friends, it’s such a blessing to have finally found a friend like her. I only wish it didn’t take me 24 years to find her, but I intend on keeping her around for a long time.

Unfortunately there were complications and I almost died. Through it all my mom was there will taking care of things at home, working full time as a secretary and then I asked her to stay with me in the hospital because I was scared and could not get out of bed because I use a wheelchair because of a birth defect that prevents me from walking. Also I was but on oxygen 24/7. Through it all she never complained even after she lost her job several months ago. So please consider my mother please.

I would like to thank him for coming to the hospital, during my ovarian surgery…when I asked him not to…& being there next to my Dad who at the time did not approve of him, to show that he was there for me. Thank you for being my best friend.

  54. I would like to thank my 21 year old daughter for the countless hours she helps me with my two medically compromised children. Her devotion to them helps to keep them out of daycare thus eliminating the risk of the youngest with immune system issues from catching extra viruses and illnesses and putting her life at risk. My daughter has put her college and work schedule to home study and part time evening work just to be able to watch the girls. She also does so much more to help me especially this past summer when my husband was in Iraq. I can never thank her enough for all she does!

  64. There are so many people in the world I want to thank, the list is endless! The saying, “It takes a village” is so true in life! We all need each other, to help get through the hard times, and the moments when we don’t know what to do. I have my sisters who I call and they call me, whenever we need a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to talk about anything. There are no judgements, just open minds.
I love my 4 sisters, and think they are the best friends I could ever want!

  65. Kathleen

  66. Virginia

I would like to thank my boss for being so kind and understanding.

  67. Patricia Wolfe

I say thank you to my Dad! When I was younger, he would eat whatever treats would come out of my Easy Bake Oven. When my daughter received her Easy Bake Oven from Santa and her Papa (my dad) was there for Christmas morning, he again would eat whatever treats his granddaughter would make. As I grew older I would bake fresh from scratch chocolate chip cookies for him every Sunday. Anytime I would visit I would always take homemade Rocky Road that I would make just for him. Now that he has moved out of state, I no longer get the opportunity to bake fresh for him. When I do visit, which is not often enough, I do bake his cookies and rocky road and stock his freezer as best I can, but he always runs out. I miss the days of baking for my dad, and he is always in my thoughts when I bake cookies for my children and their friends.

  68. Elaine

I’d like to thank my mom and dad for their unconditional love, support, generousity, kindness, and example. They’ve worked hard to not only provide the basics but also focused on teaching me and my sisters the values and work ethics for us to be independent, thoughtful, strong contributing members of society. And even when we didn’t listen or follow what they wanted – we knew we always have their unconditional love and support. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today!

  69. Sherri Gibson

I would like to thank my son, Jared, and all of our soldiers, sailors and marines for their selfless sacrifice for our country and freedom. Jared is set to graduate from basic training at Ft. Thank you, Jared, for loving your family and your country and chosing to serve! We love you and are SO proud of you!!!!

  70. Cathy

This is not really a “thank you” but a “thankful”. I am “thankful” to my daughter Meredith who, as a single mother of 3 beautiful daughters,a creative, imaginative, motivational 6th Grade Teacher, and amazing cook and a true survivor of being able to handle it all. She is an amazing person who gives of herself to her children, to her students, and mostly her love as a daughter to me.
We have not seen each other in 1 1/2 years-her with all the children and me taking care of my 85 year old mother who suffers from dementia.

I would like to thank both my sons. They each gave me a grandaughter within the last two months. I always wanted grandchildren and now have two beautiful healthy little baby girls. As special as I thought it would be, I had no idea.

  74. I am so thankful for my Father! My parents divorced when I was 10 and I was Daddy’s little girl. He and I faced a long hard road together, because I lived with my mother. Over the years we grew somewhat distant. When I grew up and had children of my own, that is when I really realized how important he was to me. I do regret the time lost when I was younger, you know the time where you have no time for your parents. Now at 38 I can not imagine him not being here and not talking to him every week, spending time with him and my stepmother. They are the mountains of strength in my life when I am down in the valley. They are the support, the rock and the shoulder I need and they are there without question or fail. I love my father more than anything in the world. I hope someday I can show him how much I appreciate him and what he has meant to me over the years. He is an amazing man, teacher and father. I am a better person because of him! My children have an amazing role model in a grandfather! The world is a better place just because he is in it!

  75. Peggy

I owe all my thanks to my Mom and Dad, who have loved and supported me through the best and the worst that life has to offer. They have put up with my nonsense, shared my triumphs and held me up when I didn’t think I had the strength to do so on my own. They have laughed, cried, yelled, comforted and everything in between. I love them more than they could ever know!

I am thankful for my parents. Even as I age they still continue to parent me – which I love. They are always there to say, “Good Job” or “Stop Being a Knucklehead”. Mostly they are who continue to give me a reality check and for that I will always be grateful.

  91. Jenny

I am thanking for my Mother for teaching me about compassion, and the importance of helping others in need. She always takes care of others but never herself, so I want to do something special for her.

  92. Rachael

I would like to thank the many school teachers who are serving our country and the world by dedicating their lives to teaching our children. My good friend Heather is a 5th grade teacher and spends her personal time and money to help her class achieve greatness! She is an outstanding teacher in a low income school where many of the kids in her class come from broken homes. It would be fantastic for the class to get the reward of cookies and I know it would bring a huge smile to Heather’s face. She does so much and sadly our teachers are not rewarded with huge salaries and expense accounts…yet they cultivate the future of our society. I am so thankful for teachers everywhere and especially thankful for the teachers in my community – like Heather.

  93. Melissa S.

I would like to thank God for never changing and always loving me. He has blessed me in so many ways, and he has carried me through my times of immense sadness. He has helped my family with this horrible economy, blessing us with loving grandparents and a great church family who are willing to help us with school bills and such. He carried me when my grandparents died, and helped me to celebrate their lives instead of mourn them. He is so wonderful.

  94. winona

Thanks to Father Donie O’Conner, a visiting missionary from Africa, who let my third grade kids know what it’s like to live without very much of anything and still sing Hakuna Matada, Swahili for it’s okay!

  96. Robin

I would like to thank my Mother in Law who has always been there for her family even at times when she has suffered herself.

  97. Shannon

I want to thank all of the US Troups!! If it weren’t for them we all wouldn’t have our freedom!! They risk thier lives every day! God bless them and God bless America!!

  98. jing

i am thankful to my parents who provided the best for us while we were growing up..

  99. Sharon

I’d like to thank my best friend, Joy, who has always been there for me! She is a absolutely joy to be around, no pun intended! She’s a former co-worker of mine and makes an effort to stay in touch even though we don’t see each other as much anymore. She is such a blessing and I’m glad she’s part of my life.

  100. Patricia F.

I would like to thank my Mother-in-Law, Lucy (Nonee), for 30+ years of always “being there”. She was forever helping out with our children when they were young (and even older). She was always there to lend a hand or an ear, or give a hug. Her love, wisdom, guidance, and assistance for our family was over-whelming. A couple of years after Papa’s passing, she moved near another family member a few states away, to an assisted-living center. Due to lack of space, we always send her Mrs. Field’s cookie/brownie selection (no nuts) for birthday/holidays and she is always thrilled. My husband and I, our adult children (her Grandchildren), and her Great-Grandchildren miss her soooo much! She will forever be in our hearts! God blessed us by giving her to us! We are sooo grateful for the years we had her with us. We love you Nonee!!!!!

  101. Meredith

My son’s teacher is a wonderful woman! She is tirelessly devoted to my son who has special needs. My son wears an amplification system in the classroom which amplifies her voice into his better ear. She was so enthusiastic about the device that it is considered cool by his classmates and they want to wear it too. This is the hugest gift to my son!

  102. Susan Emery

I would like to thank all of the doctors that help me continue with my battle with Multiple Myeloma! Not only medically, but spiritually! THANKS!

  103. Maleesa Lamatina

As a teacher, you have the opportunity to touch many lives. It is time that I look at what I’ve been given, and thank my students! Each year, my class provides a daily reminder of why I became a teacher. They love me unconditionally, and enter my classroom with enthusiasm and innocence. I would like to show how thankful I am to have them in MY life!

  104. Wendy Brotherton

This Thanksgiving I am so thankful for my mother and my father. My husband and daughter were involved in a car accident. My husband was hurt and our car was really damaged. We didn’t have the money on hand to have a doctor examine my husband for injuries, pay for the car repairs, rent a car while the car is being worked on, and our insurance went up. I was so worried. I didn’t know what to do. In this economy money for everyone is just so tight. My mother and father gave me $500.00. I didn’t ask for it. I just wanted to have someone to listen to me, a shoulder to cry on and a hug. But, they just gave me $500.00 to help me. And it was a big help. My husband was able to see a doctor, we were able to make a down payment for car repairs and get a rental car. That what people who really love you do, help if they can. I am so thankful for my mom and dad. I love them so much.

  105. I’d like to thank my husband for always being so supportive and caring! He’s the best hubby ever, and he deserves a sweet little treat, so I’d love to win this for him.

  106. Laurie

I would like to thank my kids for all their help over last few years after my injury. They have helped shop, run errands, picked each other up, and kept the house running, and took care of me right after my injury and have continued to help as I slowly improved.

  107. Linda Alsdorf

I would like to thank my first class, A #1 Cadillac type of a husband for putting up with me 23 years and thank him for his 20+ years duty in the Air Force to keep us all safe.

  108. Donna

I would like to thank my mom and dad for making me what I am today. They taught me my example. They were always there for me when ever I would need them, which was many times. Now that I am older and have my family I wish I could show them that I have become a daughter they would be proud of. I miss them and love them. Wish they were still here.

  109. Wow! My husband most definitely deserves to win. He has been amazing through 6 very difficult years of marriage: first losing his mother, having 3 kids so very close together (and helping me recover from difficult deliveries), and job difficulties that had forced him to be really innovative.

Now, he has given me his 100% full support in my writing career, standing by me every step of the way as I saw my first book published this year! He is an amazing father, and the ONLY person I trust fully for anything.

The love of my life and my best friend, I couldn’t make it on the difficult days without him :) This would be an amazing way to say “thank you”, especially since he doesn’t want me spending money on him this holiday season.

Thanks for a great opportunity :)

  110. ANDY

I would like to thank my Gramma for all she has done for our family. I have lived with her all my life and just recently my Aunt and Uncle had to move in with their 4 kids. It’s crowded and sometimes things are really tight but my Gramma makes it all work. She has a sense of humor that helps us all out and I don’t know what we would do without her. This Holiday Season is going to be not so good so her getting something like these cookies would mean the world to her and to us to be able to say thank you!!

  111. Bonna Fahey

I would like to thank my daughter Alison Boyer. She is my partner in a daycare and she is always there for me. She is a great Mom to my 3 grandchildren, supporting them in all their activities and she is a great friend to me! I love her very much!!

  112. I would like to thank God for the most wonderful life anyone can have. I am thankful for my Husband, children, family and friends. These are all blessings from God!!

  113. Chelsea Robidoux

There is only one person in my life that I would thank every second of the day and that person is my mother. She has been my everything since I was born raising me and taking care of me every second of my life! Without her I have no clue where I would be today. She has taught me everything that I know and has taught me some of the most amazing life lessons! Without her strong will and lovingness this world would be such a lonely place. She has helped so many people in her life and continues to help to this day. She is the best person that I have ever met!

  114. Katie

I would like to thank my bestfriend, Marcy, for seven years! She have been very supportive, understanding, very trusting, and helping me financially! There is never a dull moment, I keep her entertained and on her toes! I help her see the enthusiasum by going out and enjoying life.

  119. Kris

I thank my Mom and Dad for taking care of me all these years. Even though I am supposed to be taking care of them now, they are still providing me with shelter and food and support while I attend college. I promise to give them as much back as I can after I graduate by taking care of them and my older brother.

  120. Samantha Daleo

I would like to thank my son who has done so great in his 3 years so far in college. I have been hard on him sometimes and I don’t think that I tell him enough, how proud I am of him.

  121. Gayle O

I would like to thank my brand new son-in-law of 3 1/2 months, Jeremiah. He is in the U.S. Air Force for the past three years and has three more to serve. He not only is protecting us and our country (he works on the F-22 Raptors) but he is a genuinely nice, good guy.
First, he was my daughters first boy friend, they met, fell in love and got married after a year and a half. He takes such good care of her, especially through her surgeries before they got married when others might have said no way, too much trouble. His love for her shines through.
Second, he loves our country. He wants to stay in the Air Force and serve. He also is volunteering to go overseas as he wants to feel like he is really making a difference.
All in all, Jeremiah is an all around good guy and true American who I thinks deserves a little thanks for everything he does.

  122. Nancy

I would like to thank god because during my abusive childhood he has been there for me when nobody has. When I thought no one was there for me he listened and answered my prayers. He found an amazing person to take me away from my abusive home and I’m thankful very thankful. Now I’m married and have two children and we’re so happy and I’m more happy because I’m giving my family the love I’ve never had.

  123. Peggy Moore

I wake each day and thank God for my two wonderful sons. No matter what each day brings, I am reminded that God brought these awesome children into my life. I cannot find the words of appreciation to thank Him for this life-changing opportunity to be their mother.

  124. Angie

I would like to give thanks to my close family. I was involved in a terrible accident in May. I almost lost my life. These people visited me every day for my 60 day hospital visit.

  125. Barbra Mutchler

I would like to thank my husband, Brad. He is still the love of my life after 21 years of marriage. He has held my hand through the birth of our two children; he has held me through the death of our three babies; he has prayed for me during two surgeries; and he still love me unconditionally!

  126. Tina

My mom is my hero. She has raised three children, suffered through the loss of her daughter, is now in her 60′s and raising my sister’s 5 year old son. She has instilled God and good values in me. Her and her husband were my mom’s best friends, and when my mom passed away when I was nine, this gracious woman honored her promise to my mom and raised me as her own. She’s been through so many obstacles, and yet is strong and beautiful, with a wonderful sense of humor and true love for all of us. I thank God for blessing me with her in my life. I became a good person due to her strength and guidance.

  127. Kathy

I would like to thank my sister who is always there to listen to me vent, shares the ups and downs of parenting and everyday life. I’m glad I have you for a big sister!

  128. Debbie

I would love to thank my mother-in-law. She has been so wonderful through the past 20 years of my marriage. I inherited 2 wonderful stepdaughters and with her approval, it was such an easy transition when the daughters came to live with my husband and I. My mother-in-law is very religious and I know she wasn’t thrilled her son decided to remarry, but she still stood by my side and supported me through it all. I now have two wonderful grown daughters (step), that I can be very proud to call my own. This is only through the support of a nonconditional, loving mother-in-law. I could never ask for a kinder, sweeter person.

  129. Liz

I ‘d like to thank my kids for being the best boys ever. I am a single parent and I know its been tough for them. They have always been 3 very good kids and I thank God for them.

  130. Gina

Every once in a while you come across a person that asks of nothing but enters into people’s lives and always brightens their day. My 1st year college daughter has that gift. During high school she would bake and package beautifully homemade muffins, cookies, hand dipped and decorated pretzels and carry them in a big basket through the halls. She would pass them out to the security guards, custodial staff, support staff, teachers and also students in the hall that needed a pick me up. She volunteered endless hours for homeless shelters and handicapped children as well as a cat rescue program. Now that she is 10 hours away in a rural area at college she is missing her friends. I know that winning would be greatly appreciated as she loves Mrs. Field’s presentation and quality of baked goods. Wouldn’t this be a reversal for someone that has always been giving her time and baked goods? It would also be a great way for her to share baked goods with other lonely students :)

  131. Aymee

I would like to thank my dad for being such a wonderful influence in my life. I have been so grateful to have him as a father to me and a grandfather to my children. I know our days together are limited so I am forever thankful for every minute, every second that we have together. I love you, dad!

  132. Julie Justice

I would like to thank my daughter Jennifer for my beautiful and awesome grandchildren. I thought when she had the first grandson that life couldn’t get any better. He is by far the most caring and sweetest guy. Then 3 years later came my granddaughter, who is the best ghost story teller at family dinner on Sunday nights. Then came the twin boys last year. What a joy they are. I was nervous about twins but WOW, what a difference life is. They are incredible. I cannot imagine life without grandchildren.

  133. Samantha E

I would like to thank my mother. As a single mother of 2 daughters we struggled a lot, but no matter what she always made sure my sister and I had while she went without for so many years. About 10 years ago she was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lyphoma and my world crumbled. Throughout it all she stayed positive as she went through her chemo and radiation. Just when I thought I had reached my breaking point there she was lifting me up and cheering me on as I continued my way through college. Here we are today, and thankfully she is cancer free. She taught me how to fight and survive. She is my best friend and I owe everything I have to her!

  134. Bonneka

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK MY MOTHER FOR BEING THEIR FOR OVER THESE YEARS WE HAD OUR UPS AND DOWNS, BUT THROUGH IT ALL WE MADE IT THROUGH THE TEST AND TRIALS, THRUOUGH PAIN AND SUFFERING.

  135. Mary N.

I would like to give Thanks & Praise to my 2 daughters. My husband, their wonderful dad passed away suddenly in spring 2008. They both live in other states, but each made trips home and helped me through the past months, in more ways than I can ever write on this thread. In preparing my home for sale this summer – my younger daughter tackled home repairs, decluttering and much more. My older daughter took charge of the massive yard sale that needed to take place. And my older daughter is sharing her home with me, till I find a place of my own. I know how each of them would love “cookies” – and I would love to let them know just how “sweet” they are and how Thankful I truly am to have them in my life. Thank you for the chance of an opportunity at giving them such a gift.

  136. Connie Thrasher

I would like to thank Caryn. A very carrying and
supportive person. I met Caryn after I had been diagnosed with a Heart and lung disease. She is a nutitionist, and a very good one. When you find out that you have something that is going to change your life, fear is a great part of that moment. I needed to be directed to become healthy as i could, and she was there for me. But, not only with nutrition, but the changes I was to go through. She never turned her back on me nor treated me less than. For this Support and careing, she deserves
    a Hurrah!!!!

  137. Doreen

I would like to thank my sister-in-law Connie who unselfishly became foster mother to four needy children. After two of the children were reunited with their families, she adopted the two children that were still with her. There should be more wonderful people like her.

  138. Brian Royer

I want to thank my son, Former Marine, Sargeant Brian Royer for his dedication to his family, friends, and to his country for his service in the Marines. He is a Veteran of the WAr in Iraq. His strength, courage, caring and thoughtfulness continues to make him a very special person. In addition, Brian enjoys Mrs. Field’s Cookies which have traveled to whatever destination he was at in his military career. He deserves one more cookie for his enjoyment!

  139. Naomi

I would like to thank my friend Pat for being there for me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer twice, 18 years ago. I have survived and she has stood by me no matter what has happened in our lives. She lost her husband 18 months ago and she struggles but we as friends have always been there for each other

  140. Lois Page

I would like to thank Ms. Jennifer Hilley, Language Arts teacher at William R. Boone High School in Orlando Florida on behalf of all the students that she has taught, and other students at the school that she befriended and mentored even if they weren’t in any of her classes. She is truly an inspiration to all students, as a caring, respectful, human being. She not only teaches Language Arts, but she teaches life lessons to all. She goes the extra mile, is a confidant that students in need of “adult advice” has helped so many kids stay on the straight and narrow path. She is the type of teacher that should be “cloned”…Everyone LOVES Ms. Hilley!!!!

  141. Sharon Papachek

I would like to thank my youngest sister Heidi. Not just because she’s the youngest but for her caring heart. After my loss of my only son she was with me listening and encouraging me that everything would be ok. Thank you for always being there for me, it’s been 3 years and I am stronger thanks to her.

  142. Tracey

I would like to thank my family for being there for me when I got laid off this summer. They have been so supportive, giving me encouragement and hugs.

  143. Danielle

If I could thank one person, it would have to be my mom. I put my mom through a lot in my teen years and now she is having health issues along with taking care of other family members. I would thank her everyday if I could, but unfortunately I live far away from her. She is a great inspiration in my life; she brings joy to all who know her with her love, compassion and friendship. My mom is an amazing woman who deserves a nice sweet gift to suit her sweet disposition!

  144. Jan

I would like to thank my husband Dan. He is truly my hero. He has offered unwavering support from the time I was diagnosed with colon cancer in early September and continues to be my chemo buddy and caregiver as I go through chemo.
    THANK YOU DAN

  145. Angela

Special thanks to my parents who are always kind and forgiving!

  146. Stacy Hixon

I would like to thank my 13 year old daughter Sha for supporting me thru HER back surgury last October. She was strong for us when we were worried. She is my hero and I wish I could have her strong will to get thru anything with a positive outlook..

  147. hindy

I would like to thank my family members they give me a warm family. All my nieces care about me so much.

  148. Jane Brill

I would like to thank my husband Richard who just remodeled our bathroom for me for my 50th birthday. He worked endless hours to get it just the way I like it. He is very unselfish and is always there for me. After being married for 30 years I can’t think him enough for all his love and devotion to me and our boys.

  149. Mandy Nelson

I would like to thank my parents and friends for all their support with the tough time I endured being laid off in February 2009. I was denied unemployment for quitting a part time job I had in addition to the main job I was laid off from. I was with no income for March 2009. I had never gone through something so challenging in my life. I won my appeal and was very grateful to the judge and her amazing ruling. As of today, I am still searching for work. Thank you to everyone for your love and caring support during this hard time of 2008. This only makes me stronger and better things are yet to come.

  150. Sandy

I would like to thank my wonderful family, my husband and two beautiful children for making a wife and mother proud. Every day is a new challenge and together we succeed.

  151. Kristi

I would like to thank my husband for always being there for me. He is not only the love of my life, but my best friend. He has given me the best two gifts in the world, our sons. For that I will be forever thankful. I am truly blessed to have these three men in my life.

  152. Chelle

I am thankful for my sweetie, Jah. He is always a source of inspiration and love. Without saying a word, he knows just what to say to make a bad day good. And while distance separates us, he makes me feel like he’s right here, supporting me and loving me. He’s helped me thru some really rough patches and I am truly blessed to have him in my life.

  153. I would like to give thanks to my husband, for the best 30 years of marriage. You were true to your vows since 12/15/79. The kids are grown, now 20 more years will be a breeze.

  154. Diane Steiger

I want to thank my husband for 40 years of marriage and the 3 great kids we have. We have been so blessed.

  155. Stefanie Schmidt

I want to thank my mom for always being there for me for advice giving, support, and the best hugs on the planet. We may not always see eye to eye, but I know that no matter what she will be there for me and she has always been my number one cheerleader to encourage me to always follow my dreams. I remember so many days that when I was down in the dumps, she would buy me a Mrs. Fields cookie and we would both cry a little and smile when we could indulge in our favorite treat. I would love to give her a little back by showing her how much everything she has done means to me by winning these cookies. She deserves the prize more than anyone I know.

  156. Desare Burdick

I would like to thank my wonderful family. I have the most supportive, wonderful, amazing family in the world. Without their loving support, I have no idea were I would be today. My family makes me feel glad when I am sad and beatiful when Im not feeling so beatiful. They make me feel safe, special and loved. I have the best family in universe.

  157. Amy Sanders

I am grateful for Mary Rose. Some what of a stranger who became a wonderful friend and supported me during one of the most difficult times in my life. During my pregnancy with my daughter, I experienced some serious difficulties which resulted in me being on 10 weeks of hospital bed rest. I was alone and scared for the life of my little girl. Mary Rose came to visit me daily Monday through Friday (my husband is Active Duty Military and could not come every day) She would sit by my side, comfort me, cry with me and was strength and hope when I felt lost.
I am beyond grateful that she was there for me and was able to enjoy some of our happiness when our daughter was born with limited complications. Our daughter Aaliyah is now a healthy and happy 14 month old. And Mary Rose shares her middle name.

  158. Anne

I would like to thank my friend Sheri who is always there for me. Having both moved more than once and now living away from our families, friends have become that much more important to us. Whether it is for a laugh, support, help with the kids or a sounding board, she is someone I can count on. Her husband travels during the week for work so she is essentially a single mom Monday to Friday yet she is the first one to offer to help with anything. Everyone should have a friend like that.

  159. DEBORAH LYNNE SANDERS

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK OUR SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN. WHAT THEY DO AND SACRIFICE IS INCREDIBLE. THEY LOVE THAT THEY HAVE FOR OUR COUNTRY IS SO HONORABLE. THEY MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR ALL OF US TO LIVES OUR LIVES AS WE CHOOSE. THANKS TO ALL SOLDIERS OUT THERE. YOU ARE APPRECIATED.

  160. jennifer handy

I want to thank my hubby for being the best!

  161. Susan Broadway

I would like to thank my daughter-in-law, Beth, for being such a wonderful Army wife, mother, and mentor for cadets and families. She is always there to help new families into the post community, and church. She is the best Army wife a mother-in-law could ask for.

  162. bailey

i would like to thank my mom for working hard to support our family and caring for us and motivating me to become successful in the future by trying my best to succeed.

  163. Julia

I am a stay-at-home mother of a 1 year old and a 3 year old. My husband is an 8th grade teacher. I would like to thank him for working so hard for the past 2 and a half months to get everything done at school by 3:15 so he can watch the kids while I coach field hockey. I love being a coach and I couldn’t do it without his support. He also helps my team by finding childcare occasionally so he can film our games. When I get home from practice or games, he always has the kids fed and ready for bed. Sometimes he puts them to bed before I get home. He’s an all-star and I love him immensely.

  164. michelle tashbook

I would like to thank my dog Mischief, who we lost her this June to Bone Cancer. She was my rock and gave me unconditional love. She is well missed by all of her friends and family (human, feline, and canine). She taught me to always seek what you want out. I credit her with finding my husband who she loved till her dying day. She will never be forgotten and will always have a place at our table for meals. She sure did love your cookies and so does my family, myself and even her sister Munchkin. Thank you Mrs. Fields for giving my dog and family joy with your cookies for years.

  165. Kathy

My DH. He’s stuck by me when I had 2 surgeries, took care of the house, cooked and cleaned, and never once complained. He deserves something special. :)

And thank you for the contest!

  166. Marah

I would like to thank my dentist and his staff. I have a huge fear and anxiety issues about going to the dentist, and end up crying every time I am there. I feel bad and hope they don’t take this personally. My dentist and his staff are so thoughtful and understanding, and take the time to help me work through my issues rather than being insulted by my unintentional tears and trying to rush me through the procedures. Even though I am unable to express my gratitude when i am there because I am such a mess when I get there and i have to get out as soon as I can, I hope they know how much I appreciate how kind and understanding they are.

  167. Dave

I would like to Thank my friend D she has helped me thru so many difficult times.

  168. Thank you for the giveaway. I’d like to thank my 2 children because, they are my true hero’s and inspiration in life. Without them, I’m not sure where I would be today.

  169. Marie

I’d like to thank my husband who never complains. No matter how hard his day has been he will always try to make my day better.

  170. lisa

I would love to nominate my friend luann the most generous person i have ever met. She is always their for everyone from family to friends from babysitting, being caretaker to her grandson to finacially helping out family members. There is just not enough space for me to write what this lovely person has done and will always continue to do. No matter how or what you need she will make it happen. She also has such a strong faith in god that makes me admire her. She always puts herself on the back burner to make sure everyone else is taken care of. I would love to see her win something as special as she.

I’d like to thank all the teachers at Thomas Paine Elementary School for their countless hours of dedicated work, their friendship, their concern for our students, and just for showing up with a smile on their face everyday! It also helps having the great students that we do!:)

  172. Rosalie

I would like to thank my sister Trudy. She has always been there for me even when I don’t deserve it. The unique part of our relationship is that even though we are not real sisters (her father and my father are brothers – that makes us cousins by blood) her parents raised me as their own since i was 18 months old (Iam now 47 years old) and Trudy has raised me as her sister. She is the best sister anyone could have and sometimes I feel I don’t deserve her. I love her very much and sometimes I forget to say or prove it!

  173. michele marshall

  174. sherry

I would like to thank my husband Michael for being such an inspiration and giving person. I want to thank him for showing me the true meaning of unconditional love and friendship. I love you.

  175. I am so very thankful for my daughter. She has inspired me and made me a better person in every way. She was a micro preemie, born at 26 weeks at only 1 lb. 5 1/2 oz. She has overcome the odds and is a beautiful, healthy, smart 7 year old today. She has taught me that with love, faith and a strong spirit, you can accomplish and overcome just about anything. Always believe in yourself and never take anything for granted.

  176. Jennifer Q.

I would like to thank my best friend, Leanna Ye. We never became close until just a few months ago, but the conversation we had changed everything. She’s been there when I needed her for advice or just to vent to. I was there for her to do the same. I also want to thank my boyfriend who was there when i started stupid arguments and held me until i felt better.

  177. I would love to thank my grandmother who taught me values and gave me strength

  178. Debbie Welchert

I would like to thank my daughter. She has been my angel for 30 years and I don’t know what I would do without her. She’s my best friend and has given me my wonderful grandchildren. She makes life worth living.

  179. Amanda

I want to thank my mother-in-law. She has done so much for us these past years, without asking for a thing in return. She never judges us or our messy apartment. She just wants us to be happy. My mother-in-law just has unconditional love for her family. There isn’t enough words to say how thankful I am for my
    mother-in-law.

  180. Jeffrey

I would like to thank my bronther-in-law, Bruce and my sister Lisa. Because they are such wonderful parents to my nieces, Shayna and Gabriella.

  182. Marcelle

I want to thank my mother’s caretaker, Edna. She was there for her as a little girl, playing cards at the kitchen table and eating popcorn, playing house under the table, and reading to her when she was sick in bed. I remember Edna telling stories of my mother when she was a little girl walking her to school every day staying a few steps behind, but always making sure she got there safely. Though my mother was younger, Edna was there in the hospital when my mother passed away with cancer. I thank Edna for raising my mother and providing a safe haven for her as a child and be a good example for her to learn to raise us as children. My mother would thank her too.

  183. Denise DiFalco

My husband who not only manages an entire store putting in 60 hours per week but also drives me to all my doctor appointments since I became disabled two years ago. With so much on his plate…He never ever complains. He is an incredible spouse and so deservant of knowing this.

  184. Michele

I would like to thank my fabulous night time co-workers who are such a joy to work with each night. We have a great group here at work who is like family. We catch up on each other’s lives and offer support where needed while doing the daily tasks required of the job. It’s great to work at a place where people are so supportive and caring.

  185. Peggy Scott

“Who would you like to thank and why?”

Who I would thank is an easy answer: my mother in law, Leah Valdes. There are many, many reasons as to why—her thoughtfulness, her kind and caring ways through out the years, and her firm belief that family is the most important thing in life are tops on this list. However, the number one reason why I feel Leah deserves thanks is because her love has helped me mentally recover from years of physical and mental abuse that I suffered through the hands of my own parents. She has helped me regain my faith in everything that a mother/parent should be to their child. Her love for her son and his family goes beyond anything I have ever personally experienced until I became her daughter-in-law. For this, I am forever grateful and love Leah very much. She deserves the biggest and best thanks.

  186. NANCY

My deepest gratitude and thanks goes to my daughter, Katie, for her continual love and support. She gives my life meaning. Together we form a strong bond with each other and with our extended family ties.

  187. shauna

I am thankful to my roommate Janette, who has consistently been there for me over the last three years. I have never met someone who is so selfless and generous to those around her. She is truly the most kind-hearted individual I have ever encountered.

She goes out of her way to encourage the residents to participate in activities. she creates events and takes them on trips and arramges parties and barbecues!!!1 She brings a sense of dignity to people who have been treated less than by others!! Most of all she really cares!!!

The population would love to get her a Christmas present and have very little means so this would be a wonderful way of showing total appreciation to her with delicious treats from Mrs. Fields!!!

  189. Angela

There is a co-worker/friend of mine who always goes above and beyond her call of duty. She amazes me in her giving of not only her time but of her heart! That’s who deserves these sweet treats!!

  192. Veronica Salinas

I would like to nominate my husband. He will be leaving on December 12 for his third deployment to Iraq. We were quite surprised when he received his orders for deployment this time, as he’d only been home a short time after his last one. He never says, “Why me?”, but “Why not me?” This will be his third Christmas away from his family and Grandchildren, and yet he says that this is his duty. I love this man very much!

  193. Scott Plimpton

I would like to thank my wife for lighting the path to being a better man.

  194. I would like to thank my grandfather, Clarence A. Lott, Jr., who just celebrated his 98th birthday. I thank him because he’s been a fantastic grandfather, terrific stand-in dad (to me and many others), and is a loving and loyal friend. My entire family and community is fortune to have him in our lives, and fortune that he is in good health (walks a mile 3 times a week) and is of sound mind. BTW, did I mention that he has a sweet tooth and loves cookies?

  195. pam

  199. Laura

I would like to thank my mom for being my best friend and the greatest mom I could ever ask for. She is always there for me. I’m also so proud of her for quitting smoking after many years. I know how hard it must be for her. She was in the hospital twice this year, and I was so scared I was going to lose her. I try to spend as much time as I can with her, because I love her so much. She is so caring and does so much for her family, that I would love to be able to do something for her.

  207. Lisa

I would love to thank my sisters for being there for me. I have had a hard time with my mom and dad passing away, and we always talk and support each other with laughter and jokes to ease the moments. I love them dearly.

  208. Pamela

I would like to thank my Mom who is #1 in my life. Growing up she showed me how to be the person I am today setting examples of how to be kind to others, help others, raise my children, be a good wife, how to make my house a home that all would feel welcome and want to come to our home. Setting examples of how to take care of my family and home, Mom’s taxi service, making the right decisions. My Mom always supported me and is my anchor – my best friend. I don’t live in the same state as her anymore which is hard not seeing her regularly – I miss my Mom! My Mom has now for several years been taking care of my elderly Dad 24/7 by herself which has been trying and exhausting but she hasn’t given up. My Mom is a saint and needs to know that she is appreciated which not all Mom’s are told that. I would love to let my Mom know she is awesome even though I tell her that for all her hard work and love she has given to me & others through the years. My Mom needs to know how much I love her and I would love the world to know how awesome my Mom is. What a wonderful opportunity I could give her by winning the sweepstakes to show her my love. Mom I love you and thank you for being the best Mom anyone could ask for!! Thank you for the making me who I am today.

  209. Michele Green

I would love to thank my best friend Vicki. Even though we are years apart in age, you would never know. We finish each others sentences before the other could. She answers my texts in the middle of the night. She is always the first one there when I need someone. Even with her life so complicated she never hesitates to lend a hand.My mother considers her to be her own. She truly is a friend I wish everyone could have. Without a friend like her I don’t know where I would be today. She makes being a girl so much easier.

  210. Jacqueline Preas

I’d like to thank my oldest son and his wife for being such great parents to my grandson. They also need to be commended for opening up their hearts and home to adopt an older child, they want to give her a forever home and family :).We are blessed.

  211. CJ

I would like to thank my Mom (Grandmother by blood) who legally adopted me and took care of me along with my Dad(Grandfather by blood who has since passed away).

They adopted me at retirement age and took care of me despite what others said about them being too old. God had a plan and he allowed them to raise me and send me to college and now my “MOM” who is 90 years old God’s willing will be able to see her “granddaughter” that I gave birth to a few weeks ago. She has seen my son and I am blessed for that opportunity. My grandparents were selfless when they took this responsibility on and I am better person because of their love.

  212. Margaret Smith

I would love to thank my friend Adrienne, who is one of the most caring people that I know. She is always doing nice things for others. For example, just this past month, I had hurt my leg and need surgery. Adrienne dropped off numerous meals for my family and I. In her own hetic life, while working and raising two very small children, she still found time to think of my family.
She didn’t do this because we’re good friends, she did this because it’s her nature. I’ve know Adrienne to bring meals, do chores or whatever is needed for many people.
Someone so caring and giving like Adrienne, really deserves a bit of recognition and mostly a big wonderful thank you!

  213. Colleen

I would like to thank my angel on earth and his selfless, honest and loving perspective on life: my husband.

  214. Melissa

  215. Patricia Davis

I would like to thank my Daughter, Donna Brecht. Four weeks ago I had a DNC and they found cancer. Right away, my daughter took over. One week later, I Had a major surgery to remove my uterus. My daughter left her job to be with me. She drove the 3 hours it takes to get here and moved in with me. She was at the hospital everyday and also took care of my home and my dog and was great moral support. I had lost my husband in April, so I was very much alone. She was and is the best daughter anyone could have. So I would like to Thank Her.

  216. Heather S

  224. Jenn

I would like to thank my dad’s wife Sandy. Dad has been fighting cancer for many years now. There was a period of time when he was out of work so often that his co-workers were giving up their sick time for him. Sandy has been a rock. She has been steadfastly by dad’s side no matter what. She never complains or let’s dad know if she is tired, or worried or scared. She is an amazing lady and I am so thankful that she is a part of our family.

  226. Maureen

I have had a health issue since just a few months after I got married. On Nov 14 I will celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. I wouldn’t be here (I don’t think) except for the love of my parents, husband and siblings. A year later my parents continued to be the strength in our lives when my sister was diagnosed with cancer and she is now 8 yrs out from a bone marrow transplant and is a happy wife and mother.

  227. Hi – This year I want to Thank my Boss’s. I work for three (3) wonderful men who own Shakman Hospitality, LLC and I still have a job, even though I have had to take a substantial pay cut at least I still have my job. I enjoy working for them and they have treated me well and with respect. I can’t tell you the number of times that at the end of the day my boss’s have thanked me for my day’s work and I have worked for them for 12 years. That has never happened to me anywhere else I have worked. Thank you to Rocky, John and Mark – You guys are the Best!

  228. nancy

I would like to thank my boss, Jack. He has been socked by personal problems this past year but still perseveres in his beliefs and does what he thinks is best. The shaky economy has only shown his strengths more vividly. He continues to take care of his employees at a cost to himself. I am grateful to be able to work for him. Thanks, Jack.

  229. Danielle Ferrell

I want to thank my grandmother for allowing me to always sit with her in the kitchen on that stool and watch her cook family meals. Those moments were so special to me and now that she is no longer with us, I really miss that. But those days have helped me to be the cook of the family that I am today and all meals are made with love.

  230. Sara

  234. I would like to thank my job. Austin Middle school for being such a caring loving and supportive school. I took a job in the middle of the year and left my school because the other job was strickly in my field and more MONEY!!
I made and mistake and now I’m back home with some great people. Making less money of course but god is making away everyday because it was meant for me to come back.
You see I was in a pretty bad car accident and got behind on bills so I had to change jobs. My school stepped up and helped me so much! They were my angels sent from god and I am so thankful to be among a diversity of coworkers who show that they care for each other and our students each and everyday!

god bless and thank you Mrs. Fields for this opportunity.

  235. Terry Yoho

My Dad deserves a huge hug and thanks for still remembering who I am as he has dementia. He struggles every day to do basic tasks that we take for granted like knowing how to turn on the TV, or getting a cup of coffee without getting burnt or spilling it. He’s always been there for me over the years and came to my rescue during my divorce. He is a hero every day! Love you Dad!!

  236. Amber Gibson

I would like to thank my faculty advisor for giving me great advice this year and being a wonderful support system that I can count on. Even when he is already so busy with his own work, he will always make time for me to come in and see him if I have questions or just want to talk.

  237. Debbie L

I am thankful for my husband. I work for a Certified Public Accountant and a lot of the year I am working lots of extra hours. He helps me out in so many ways – fixing dinner, working around the house and just a call to “see how you are doing”. He does this all while he is working a full time job, taking classes on-line for college, and being music director at our church. He is very unselfish.

  238. rebecca dikeman

  242. Pegg

Thanking this person seems so small for all she has done for so many people through her life. If you asked her, she would tell you she hasn’t done anything. She has helped and touched so many people though her life. I mean to tell you I don’t know how she does it. Shopping, running errands, visiting with them (because no else cares), even washing their clothes if need be. Making sure they get to their doctor appointments.
There is so much I could say about this lady, but I believe her to be one that deserves to be treated with the sweets that she gives so openly with her heart. She is like a sister to me for we have known each other for 57 years and have never had a disagreement. We met when she was 6 and I was about to turn 6 years old. What a wonderful friendship this has been! Thank you Kathy for caring and loving everyone that touches your life.

  243. kathy

I would like to thank my best friend of 21 years, Nancy. 244. Dody Johnson

Our family had a Female Lab named Sully, for 12 years, and she had justed went to doggie heaven on Saturday November 7th 2009,Sully was not feeling well for 24 hrs, and right before she started having a hard time breathing, my 24 yr old son Devan, and my son in law Casey tried to give Sully CPR, thet brought her back for a minute or so, but it was her time to be with the Lord! It was very heart breaking for our whole family, and we feel she waited until my daughter Miranda, her husband Casey(son in law), and my grandson Chase to move back in with us from Missouri that same day(Nov 7th), to say goodbye! We put her in a big tub with Sullys favorite blanket, her bone, treats, and alot of our family photos, and we all signed how we felt about her with black marker, on the out side of the tub, and buried her down the hill under our tree of hope!!! Anyway Dody had suprised us with a new 9 week old yellow lab on Monday November 9th, her name is Zoey Angel, we want to thank Dody for being our special Angel, in helping us with the loss of our beloved Sully!!Dody is truly a blessing to us and we all love her very much, love The Belcher Family!!

  245. Lori

I’d like to thank my son for giving me joy and happiness everyday :)

  246. Miriam Lopez

I wish to nominate my daughter, April. She is and always has been the model perfect daughter. Recently I became ill and she visited me everyday, even though she had a full time job, to take care of me and take me to my doctor’s appointments, to run errands for me, cook for me, bathe me, everything I required. I am well now and she still does everything she can for me. She offers – I never have to ask her. She comes to my house and helps me clean, she carries heavy things for me, helps me organize, goes to the doctor with me. She has recently become unemployed and is feeling very down right now and having some financial difficulties but you would never know it because she is always cheerful, upbeat and smiling. She really is an angel and I would like to bring her spirits up by having her receive one of your beautiful and delicious cookie products.

My sister’s wit and sense of humor allowed me to laugh and get through the pain. My mom was hospitalized twice for high blood pressure and I didn’t know what was going to happen. But seeing her look up-beat in the hospital made me realize that she was going to be okay. Without them, I probably wouldn’t be here today.

  251. Laura

I would like to thank my co-workers for all the amazing help and support they have given me over the past few months.

  252. Yvonne Y.

I would like to thank my parents who are in their 70s. Over this last year they have been there unconditionally. They have gone over the top, with supoort, love, and teaching us the values of life. We love them so much and they continue to do for others and ask for nothing in return, except for someone’s company for a cup of coffee. How much sweeter can they be?! My father is accompanied by a bad hip and has a hard time walking, and my mother is there to take on the task of taking care of him. What an ANGEL, she expresses it is part of life…that they love being there for us and each other. I think this would be the start of a beautiful holiday and to let them know how great life is because they are in it. The world is a better place. Good luck to all us who have entered this contest!

  253. Tanya Ramirez

I would like to thank my daughter’s. They are the joys of my life. Everyday I am so proud of them.

  254. Carisa Byers

I would like to thank my sister Tambra. Our mom just passed away from small cell lung cancer. We all live across the united states and my sister Tambra went to visit my mom for her vacation away. My mom was not feeling well so my sister took her to the doctors to find out that she had small cell lung cancer and not much time to live. My sister put her life on hold back in AZ to be with my mom in KY. By doing this she lost her job and many other things. My mom passed away and my sister is now trying to put the pieces of her life back in order as she lost everything back in AZ. I would like to thank my sister for putting her life on hold and not ever hearing her complain about anything as there are not too many people like her in this world. I am very thankful to have her in my life and would like to put a smile on her face.

  255. Sue Jones

Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! to my best friend Jen who is always there for me through the good and the bad. You have handled your loss with so much strength you are an inspiration to me! We Love you Jen!

  256. Diane Beauchamp

I would like to thank and praise my sister, Lori, for the care and love she gives to our Mom, Doris each and every day of the year. Mom suffered from a severe stroke several years ago which has resulted in her residing in a nursing home totally unable to care for herself. She is totally reliant on others for all of her daily needs. Rain or shine, whether Lori feels well herself or not, my sister visits Mom, spending hours and hours of quality time with her daily, doing everything she can to ensure that Mom is receiving the best possible care in the Nursing Home where she resides. She has put her own life on hold to do this. She goes out of her way, well above and beyond the call of duty to do absolutely ALL that she can do for Mom, and to be Mom’s voice since she cannot verbally express her thoughts and needs herself. Lori has literally dedicated her life to caring for and looking out for the well-being of our Mom. She is also more than willing to help any and all of the other residents at the nursing home, showing care and concern for them as well. My sister is truly an angel and deserves the very best reward possible for her selflessness in this situation. Certainly, winning a cookie basket for her would be nice for her and would be a way for me to show my gratitude to her for ALL she does and for the great person, friend, sister and daughter that Lori is!

  257. LaCinda Brooks

I would like to thank my children for bringing joy and laughter into my days.

  258. Eileen

I would like to thank my two kids, hardly kids at 17 and 21, but always kids in my heart. We don’t tell them often enough what great people they have grown up to be. In a world of tough decision making and peer pressure they have always made me proud with their great choices. They have truly made me thankful for my choice to be a mom!

  259. Jenn

I would like to thank my dear friend Bruce, you were the positive influence in my life. Your kind, caring and giving nature brought joy to all that you’ve touched. I’m sorry I never baked the chewy cookies you loved so much but “thank GOD” for Mrs. Fields you are able to have them now. I love and miss you dearly!!!

  260. d. santospago

  262. Katie

i’d like to thank my new husband, tony. i lost my job earlier this year and it could have been one of the most disastrous and stressful moments of my life if it weren’t for his love, support, and constant stream of hilarious stories. he saves me, every day, in ways that are small but never insignificant.

  263. I want to thank my mom for raising 14 children basically on her own. All fourteen of us have graduated from college, either continued on to college (and grad school) or working at good paying jobs. She continues to give of herself although we (children)are all grown up and most have families of our own. My mother is a true example of a virtous woman and I am thankful that when God was creating families — he made me a part of her family. XOXO Mom!!

  264. Tina

I would like to thank my mother for always being there for me and my family. She’s been instrumental in the past 7 years of my trying life, since my divorce. She’s been there for me when I need someone to pick my kids up & there is no one else. She’s been there when I was sick. She’s been there for moral support when I needed/need it most. She’s the best anyone could ask for! (and besides all this, she’d SHARE my favorite cookies with me!!!)

  265. Debi Keatts

I would like to thank my two special-needs daughters who have taught me so very much. I am grateful that the Lord sent these two very special little girls to my husband and me.
When we adopted them as babies I knew we were giving them the loving homes that they deserved and needed and that we would be able to teach them and help them to grow into all they could be. But never did I imagine how much they would teach me. I have learned to be more patient, more tolerant, and most importantly of all, I have learned to see the “small” things in all their beauty and wonderment and be grateful for even the smallest things in life.
They have taught me that no matter how bad things get in life, there is always something to be grateful and thankful for. I have been truly blessed.

  266. Anita

I would like to thank my friend and neighbor Brenda.. She is such a warm and caring person that would take the shirt off her back to help you.. I recently found out that she was down on her luck,, she didnt celebrate Christmas last year not a tree was put up, no decorations were put out, as she lost her job and her husband was home on a disability from a shoulder surgery.. she told me she went 3 months without eating.. she plainly could not afford it. She had nothing in the house to eat, any money that was coming in she paid her house mortgage and heat, it was more important to her to have a roof over her head and a warm bed then to eat. She lost alot of weight, she asked her family and no one helped. She fought thru the hardship and her husband and he is back to work and things are back to some what normal.. I am thankful that i know her now and that i call her a friend and someone i know i can count on and i am blessed to have her in my life. And for that i am truly thankful.

  267. I would like to thank Pawprints on the Heartland (based in Pittsburg, KS) for helping me with donated money vouchers from committed citizens. They help me afford to Spay and Neuter homeless/feral cats that find me or are dumped on me. I’m a low-income divorced mother raising teens, a granchild and have taken in MANY animals. Without Pawprints help, I would not be able to Help Stop Breeding the Homeless! ©PAWS of SEK.

  268. Penny Beigh

I would like to nominate my son Dayle and the members of his troop in Iraq.
These young men and women are spending their birthdays, holidays and just their time overseas to preserve our way of life and our freedom.
I love you Dayle, Stay safe, Mom.

  269. marsha wilson

Mrs. Melinda Alexander deserves a million thanks for pushng me to return to college at my age! She is the principal of an accelerated highs school where we work with at risk kids who do not mainstream well. Many days she faces overwhelming challenges, but always remains true to her convictions that we are here for a purpose, and that purpose is to make a difference in kids lives!
Way to go Mrs. A :-)!

  270. I am thankful for my husband! He supports me and always knows how to make me smile…even when i am sad…he is my best friend and my partner for life…i couldn’t imagine life without him in it.

  271. I would love to be able to give one of these prizes to my friends Stephanie and Scott Poling. They were my first clients when I decided to start my own in-home pet sitting business, entrusting me with their two adorable dogs, Gracie & Emma (who continue to be my favorite dog clients). They are the real reason I decided to give this business a try.

  272. Katrina

I would like to thank my friend Lisa who passed away last week after a courageous and inspirational 5 year battle with brain tumors. Lisa and her four lovely children (ages 5 to 13) and her husband are an inspiration to all of those who knew them.

  273. Sue Ellison

I would like to thank my Mother for always being there for me, even during those awful teenage years when somehow you feel your parents are just not in touch with you. She has gone through a lot in the last few years, my Dad and her sister passing away, battling cancer, and just 2 months ago waking up to find an intruder in her bedroom that threatened her life. Even so, she is still a rock. I hope I never have to experience all she has, but if I do I hope I can be as strong as she is. Thank you Mother!

  274. Jennifer

I want to thank our neighbors for their positive attitudes and example. It’s been a tough year, tough economy, tough as parents, tough as students, tough all around. Many difficulties to endure. My neighbors have difficulties like those all around them, however, they continue to keep their heads up and a smile on their faces. They are always positive and helping others although they face difficulties themselves. They deserve a bit of sweetness to show how much they are appreciated for the little things they do!

  275. Maria Belmont

I would like to thank a very special kindergarten teacher who has now taught all 3 of our children, ages 12,9,7. She is a blessing not only to our family but many others in our community. She’s wonderful!

  277. Lupe Reyes

Thanks to all the California firefighters who protected us during our recent fires throughout the sate. They valiantly put forth their efforts to save people and property with little time to rest and re-group. Our own local station (#44 in Glassell Par, CA) labors throughout the year during this dry, dry, time to keep us safe. They truly deserve Ms. Fields cookies (and more!)!

  278. Jason Schaefer

I would like to thank my mother for always believing in me even when I didn’t

  279. Sheryl St Marie

I want to recognize and thank my brother, Fred. We lost our dad nine years ago and he has stepped up in a huge way to be there for my mom. He supports all of us in a way that is above and beyond. He definitely deserves a vote of thanks!

  290. Elaine Goodrich

My dad…who is my #1 hero. My Mom has had Alzheimer’s for about 8 years now and he has had to endure and adapt to life without her though she is still here. He has so much courage and is so loving to her even when it is hard for him to cope with his great loss. I have always hoped I could live up to my Dad before and even moreso now.

  291. I’d like to thank my husband for supporting me and always letting me know that he loves me. He encourages me to take on challenges and helps me to be a better person.

  292. Kathryn

I would like to thank my grandson for just being him! He reminds me how to see the world through a little one’s eyes, especially during the holidays! Nothing comes close to his spin on events! I love to hear his thoughts on everything. I love being his grandmother and I wish I had a dozen more like him, but I am fortunate to have a grandson at all! Ethan you are the best!

  293. Audrey

I would love to honor my best friend with this gift; as he is truly worthy. He is also my client and he gives so much to the public. He is presently working to give grants to start up businesses and ministries to help in this distressed economy that we are in. He is not selfish at all. He has a heart for all people. There is not a kinder, more giving person that I know. His humility is something to be told of. I wish that every person could encounter his graceful attitude and loving heart.

  294. Janet

I want to thank my mother who is always there no matter what. She is the kind of woman who only has good things to say and has taught me about the heart of giving.

  295. I would like to thank my sister because she has always held our family together. Our parents died when we were young and she stepped up to carry on the family traditions. last August her husband died at 50 from bile duct cancer 6 months after diagnosis, she was the strongest one of us all. She spoke at his funeral and I was amazed she was able to do that because I couldn’t. I am thankful for having a great big sister to look up to. She walked me to kindergarden class and to my first day of high school. I am blessed and thankful.

  296. Mary Patterson

I’m truly grateful for my mom & best friend because after a terrible divorce that left me very depressed and hopeless for the future, my mom remembered the one thing I loved the most as a child – horses – and she bought me a beautiful arabian mare to help from feeling too sorry for myself. It resurrected me and gave me new hope for the future. I will always remember how her intuition and self-sacrificing turned my life around. I love you mom!

  297. Anne D

I would like to thank my children. We moved out of our home during a house remodel for 3 months during which we had to rough it. We also did all of the painting, moving and cleaning at night while attending work and school during the day.

My daughters, ages 12 and 19, were by my side for the duration until the job was complete. I am so proud of them (and they’re proud to show off our work in the house!).

He is so patient with me and so encouraging. We have now been blessed with 3 wonderful and fun years of marriage and looking forward to whatever God has in store for the rest of our lives together.

  309. I nominate my wife, Donna. She has gone through so much in the past year. Both of her knees were replaced, our son has been in rehab 3 times and wrecked countless cars. Yes, we have had several occasions to bail someone out of jail with 3 separate legal issues looming. She has lost 2 jobs in the past 6 months due to owners’ kids running the show and her Mother is in the hospital literally dying from complications of cancer and pneumonia and all the while she is planning her parents’ 50th Wedding anniversary early next year. We are praying her Mother makes it and Donna and I are holding on to each other. Cris

I would like to thank my Mom,she is great!!!

  311. Beverly Bludgen

I would like to thank my son for giving his bone marrow to his brother. When I asked him, he didn’t once hesitate to say yes even though he had a family to think about. After giving it, he has never once told me that he gets severe backaches since he gave it. He is a son every mother wished they had.

  312. Monique Rizzo

My sister doesn’t like to travel for holidays, so she hosts Christmas for our family, virtually doubling the number of people in her household, providing beds, tons of wonderful food, catering to people’s individual needs, and she does it all by herself! Now, if that doesn’t deserve thanks, I don’t know what does!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  317. patricia davis

You know, I could probably think of about 100 people who I can thank right now ;-). But specifically for Thanksgiving, I wanted to thank my aunt Robin for opening up her house and her heart to not only my immediate family, but my spouse’s family and many other families as well. I am thankful that she continues to do this every year (and I have been married over ten years) because this really is the one time of the year that everybody chooses to get together. And our table continues to grow and she happily accommodates us all!

  319. Michelle Geiger

  320. Stacy Varvel

I want to thank my husband. The past two years have been tough with me facing health problems and 3 young children to raise. He has been there for me every step of the way and has pushed the doctors to dig deeper when they needed to. He works tirelessly to support our family now that I cannot work and words cannot express how much I love and need him.

  321. JoAnn McAdoo

I would like to show my love and respect for one of my co-worker and friend Kena Sabb. I’m nominating her for one of the gifts. She had the shoulder that is so wide you can cry on it, you can talk to her and nothing is repeated, she is a person that will tell you the truth at all times. All of words are words of wisdom and always positive. Even when you are feeling down and out and sometimes we all are. But she is there to pick you up when others are down.

  322. candice

  324. Bridgett Cerone

I would like to thank my friend Ella. She’s a mother of two boys, a great wife and has the biggest heart. We and bunch of other mom’s belonged to an excerise group which we paid about $10 a class. The insturctor had to relocate so there was no one to teach the class. Ella offered to teach the class at no charge to anyone. She is fully certified to teach the class and could charge us something. All she wanted was people to workout with. She has put together a mom’s group that meets 4 times a week to workout and schedules playdates though out the month. She’s an inspiration to all.

  325. Natasha-John

I would like to thank my adoptive parents. They rescued me from a collapsing orphanage in Russia at 6 months. I doubt I would be alive today if they had not adopted me, they have given me the gift of life in more ways than I could ever explain. I truly think above all they are deserving of not only a gift basket put a place in heaven for their kindness and love.

  326. JoD

I want to thank the gracious ladies at my church. I had twins, recently, and they have been a wonderful support. They arranged meals for me, scheduled people to come help me with the babies, clean my house, take care of my yard, and have donated their own baby gear, like bouncy chairs, high chairs, swings and such. I am indebted to them for helping me make it through some really tough (though amazing) months, and would love to give them my thanks to show them how much their service is appreciated.

  327. Christie

I would like to thank my husband for being there for me. I could have never gotten through my multiple sclerosis diagnosis without him. He has been my rock and I would not be complete without him.

  328. Tesa S.

I’d like to thank my grandma. I didn’t realize how unselfish she was, and how she made me feel like I was the best kid in the world in making time for me. Only now do I realize how much she really loved me, and I feel sorry for kids who don’t know their grandparents or don’t have any.

  329. Leticia

  331. Jeane C

We would like to thank our grandaughter’s pre-school teachers. She is autistic and their help over the last two years has been invaluable. This year she was able to enroll in a mainstream kindergarten with an aide. We are so proud of her and thankful for all the help she has received.

  332. Crystal

I would like to thank my boyfriend for always being the nicer one, and the one to always take the blame. Even though he can be impatient sometimes, he is still always there for me.

  333. Gail

I want to thank my 2 wonderful children, Heather and Jim. They are adults, now with their own families. (well almost.. Heather is expecting her first baby in a few weeks) Jim gave me my first grandson 8 years ago, which has been the joy of my life. My children have always stood behind me in all the struggles we had when they were growing up and the still support me every day!!! I have been in the hospital a lot this year, having 4 surgeries in 8 months and Jim and Heather have been my rock emotionally and physically. Jim and his family live close by and he is always helping me get things done, even thought he has a full schedule, himself. Not only is he Cub scout leader, he’s busy camping, soccer and family obligations, AND he still has time to help me.
Heather and her husband moved to Boston, last year. Because of our economy, she has been struggling to find a job in her career field. Now with the baby coming she has been busy with setting up the nursery, even making the curtains and being a great wife. But.. she always lends a shoulder for support and listens to my troubles/venting. Both kids give me advice and moral support. My children are the most caring and giving people I know. I would love it if they won some cookies from Mrs. Fields, but even if they do or don’t, I want the world to know how GREAT they are!!!!

  334. I would like to thank my mom for helping me with my disabled son who lives near her. She helps him get his groceries, does his laundry and does other things he is not capable of.

I would thank my friend Lori for helping me out when she had a new baby and other things on her plate. She’s always dependable and reliable.

  336. Kayla

I would deeply like to thank my mom. Since I’m only 16 years old, my mom has to put up with a lot. She works all day until 7pm and still manages to spend time with the family and spread her love and care. She is always there to help and will do anything for the ones she loves. She has raised me to be respectful, responsible, caring, and so much more. I have to thank her for her presence because without her, I don’t think I could live. I thank her for all the things she’s provided me with including food, a roof over my head, and a filled bedroom. I thank her for keeping this family together and so much more. Altogether, I am so thankful for my mom, Karen and wouldn’t know what to do without her. We also eat MRS. FIELDS CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES at the mall together when we both have any spare time!!!

  337. Jan B

I am thankful for my friend, Sarah. She is the kind of unconditionally caring people that this world needs more of. She is a single Mother of two and is hard working and is genuinely kind and thoughtful of everyone. She could use something done special for her as she does for everyone else. She would LOVE some delicious Mrs. Fields cookies!

  338. Grace

  342. Helen LiFeber-Rosener

I would like to thank my big sister, Carolyn, who has always been there for me and put up with my teasing, harrassing and sometimes weird ideas. Her patience is limitless and her compassion and warmth have never waned over these 70 years of knowing her. She will have a quiet Thanksgiving with her husband and son in rural western NY state. I would like to be there but can’t because of my health issues. It would be wonderful to see her face with a great surprise like one of these prizes. Thank you for caring enough to do this.

  343. Heather

I would like to thank my best friend, Debbie, not only has she been my best friend, shoulder, and ear for most of my 40 years, but she is one of the strongest women I know. She has recently gone through job loss, divorce, cancer scare (thank goodness she is alright or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself), and having to move out of the house she purchased. A lot of women would have folded under all this stress, but not Debbie….she is my pillar of strength and for that I thank her!

  344. Stephanie V.

would like to thank my husband who is amazingly patient and willing to help even though he has worked all day at the office

Thanksgiving is my sons favorite holiday because my mother in law is that great of a cook. Thankful for family!

  346. Leslie D.

I would like to thank my dad. He is a great guy who is always there to listen, comfort, and give advice or support. I know that he works incredibly hard to support our family of seven and to allow my four siblings and I to go to private schools. I am not sure that he knows how much I appreciate all that he does for us. I also love how recently he has become significantly more involved in everything…from being a member of the school board to being a coach. I love you, Daddy.

I would like to thank my mom. She works our incredibly hard to give love and support to our family. My mom is the woman who will stay up until 2:00 AM to to proofread a paper for this one, iron uniforms for those ones, or anything else that she wants to get done for others. She spends countless hours standing over the hot stove, sitting in the driver’s seat, or doing a variety of other tasks for her children. I love you, Mommy.

My sister, Carla and her husband who stepped in for me when my son was ill and needed a place to stay. I live in a different part of the country and could not get back to help him out. They really put my mind at ease by going to the hospital and picking him up and taking him to their home for as long as he wanted and needed to stay. I am extremely thankful.

  364. My husband is the gem of all gems. We are both currently in college raising a wonderful 3 year old that we adopted from Guatemala in 2007. He has dedicated time to our special moments and always keeping the fun alive. I love him more and more each day!

I am a Type 1 diabetic and have had many health issues since the two of use have met. I have recently had some eye complications and it was to one point where I thought I would lose my vision. At that time he took my hand and lead the way. He was there for the doctors appointments, driving me to the store, picking out clothes, and helping me with everything. I love him so much and would love to say thank you! Love you baby cakes. : )

  366. Cyn T

  372. James Gadioma

I want to thank my sister Cecile and her husband Alfredo. As busy as they are with their jobs and with their 9-year-old son and 5-year-old twin girls, they have always played willing host for our family get-togethers (8 siblings), organizing the event at their home and picking up and dropping off those of us flying in and out of the three NYC airports. They are such givers and have done this over the years.

  373. Susan B

  379. Jan Glover

I have to thank my 6 year old son Drew for keeping me grounded. This boy is the happiest boy around. I can be upset over something and he will just come over and give me a squeeze and say, “It will be okay mommy” and the look in his eyes is so real I just break down and cry. He makes me want to wake up in the morning. He makes me want to be a better person. He makes me smile at everyone and if it weren’t for him, I would be lost in this world. My son opens the door for me and say’s “Ladies first” and he is only 6 years old. This boy has a heart of gold that no one can take away from him. And with this heart of gold he has make my world a better place….

  380. Andrew Glover

I would like to thank my customers. I own a kettlecorn business and the customer always come up to the stand and are just angry. I don’t like to smile, but I give my customers a hard time all the time to get them to smile. They complain or say something about the kettlecorn like “eeww, it’s sweet” I come back with a smart remark such as “well It is kettlecorn” and they just smile and walk away. Or the customer that comes up and wants a fresh squeezed lemonade that is made with fresh lemons, water, ice and sugar, but they ask for it with no ice, and little water and no sugar. I asked them if they want to pay 3.00 for the drink or 25.00, as they are asking me just to give them basically squeezed lemons in a cup with a little bit of water…….were not Starbucks, this is lemonade people. So if my customers keep coming to me with anger and remarks, it makes me smile inside to give them grief and make them smile even if it’s just for a short minute. I think people need to be broken of this anger they have inside and if I can do it for just a moment, than my day is a good one.

  381. Jan Glover

My mother who passed away this past July. She was diagnosed with lung cancer a year ago and never once complained throughout her whole ordeal of treatments, surgeries, etc…I found her in her chair one day, she had taken off her oxygen, her lifeline and set them so perfect next to her and she knew it was her time to go. She didn’t call any family member and just left this precious earth how she wanted to leave. I don’t know how she did this. You have to be one brave sole to just sit there and know that your dying and not call anyone for help. My mother died with dignity and the way she wanted. I want to thank her for giving me life and showing me what bravery is…..

  382. lois

  404. Kim Bainger

There are so many people I would love to give thanks to and I will get my opportunity to however; one name stands out in my mind at the moment, Kathy Cole. Kathy runs a non-profit organization that she and her daughter started over three years ago called New Journeys Transitional Home. This program is not government supported, it survives off of donations that are sought out by Kathy and countless other volunteers that she has educated about this program. This is a program that prevents young woman, 18 years – 24 years, from homelessness. It caters to young woman who age out of foster care at 18 years old and sent out on the streets to fin for themselves. Kathy rescues these ladies and provides a home and an opportunity to grow up in a safe environment. She helps them finish school, begin college and find jobs. These may seem like obvious tasks that we would not think twice about doing, but these ladies did not have a “normal” up bringing, most of them hadn’t even finished secondary school. Kathy’s mission in life is to bring awareness to anyone she touches so that we can help end this tragic epidemic. Kathy will be spending her Thanksgiving with her girls and it would be so nice to present this selfless sweet individual with what better than a basket of the best sweets! Mrs. Fields!! Yum Yum!

  405. Melanie D

My mom for sure! She has taken in over 250 foster kids and even has 6 month old twins right now. She is 72 years old! I honestly don’t know how she does it. She still amazes me. She is the most caring person I know.

  413. Denise R.

I would like to thank my brother, Jimmy. Jimmy never married and never had children of his own. But, due to family problems he has provided a home to my sister, a late nephew and continues to provide a home for my neice and three great neices, all on a janitor’s pay. We don’t know how we could have coped without him and we don’t know where these precious family members would have ended up had it not been for him.

  414. Giulia

I’d like to thank my husband, Steve, for being a wonderful father. Love you hon!

  415. Pat

I’d like to thank you. Your daughter brought treats to us
at Challenge Summer School. All of the staff enjoyed the
students most of all but on our breaks your goodies
replenished our energy to do our very best for the children
    in our classes.

Thank you for the contest. Happy holidays.

  416. Cheri Evjen

A big thank you to all who volunteer to make the lives of others a little bit better! I wish to especially thank ‘Nurse Nancee’, who spent her own money and vacation time to share her medical skills and loving personality with disabled children in an orphanage.

  417. This may sound weird but it would be for my old employer. I’m a SAHM now and I never fully appreciated the people I worked for or with. I’m still in contact with a lot of them but I miss working there.

  420. Kevin F.

My Dad… Big Irv. In spite of my sister having a contentious divorce & the stress it placed on her two boys, my father stepped up & relentlously pursued my oldest Nephew Matthew to have his Bar Mitzvah. My dad coordinated a Cantor for the service & structured study sessions. My nephew has developed his confidence & is now excited & proud to be able to achieve a rite of passage for a young man (which his other friends have done), in spite of friction from his narcissistic father. My Dad has been the mentor to develop his grandson as a responsible young man & instill his confidence.

  421. James Jenkins

I thank my wife for putting up with me

  422. Michelina Y

Thanksgiving is a time for thanking those around us
for making our life fuller and more meaningful. I’d
like to thank my Mom first of all for bringing me
into this world and making me the person I am today.
Secondly I’d like to thank the love of my life my
hubby of 25 years for being the man I wish to be
with the rest of my life, and thirdly my sweet
daughter who I can’t image life without.

  423. Rachelle Gizinski

I would like to thank my husband Bob for being by my side during my hospital stay. I slipped and fell and broke my femur during our vacation in June in the Florida Keys. We live in New Jersey. I of course had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital. He follow by car. The whole time I was in the ER he was by my side holding my hand and comforting me while I was waiting to be operated on. To some this is expected, after all he is my husband, but he was there for over 28 hours, holding my hand, drifting off to sleep and waking to make sure I was not in took much pain or needed anything. After the operation to insert a rod in my leg he was by my side when I woke up. And yes he spent every day with me the week I was in the hospital. I still tease him that I would have been at the beach or at least by the pool.
I ruined our vacation and he did not complain one bit. But the story does not end there. We had to get home. It is a long drive (yes we drove down) from the Keys to New Jersey and he had to do all the driving, along with shleping all the equipment I need to get around. A walker, a wheel chair and a 3 in one Potty chair. Because he was the only one that could drive, it took us two days to get home. Need I tell you how many trips to the car my husband needed to make to get all the equipment and luggage into the hotel room or how long it took to get me out of the car for meals and bathroom breaks. Still no complaining. We made it home safely.
It is now November and I am still feeling the effects of a broken femur, but I am feeling much better.I am lucky to have such a great husband.

  424. Jill Barbacovi

My daughter is in 5th grade and has been blessed with an especially wonderful teacher. I would like to thank Mr. Becker for bringing excitement to learning, for teaching manners, for showing the importance of fairness, respect, and kindness to his class. It is just great to see my daughter wanting to learn and wanting to achieve success, and knowing how to be a good friend to classmates and to the world! It takes just one teacher to make an unbelievable impression!

  425. Kelly Carlisle

I would like to thank my son’s doctor! My son has been home from school for the last 5 weeks due to mono. He went from being very sick from the mono to being very depressed. His symptoms persisted as though the mono was still keeping him down, however his doctor was able to talk to him and determine he has now transformed into a state of depression and anxiety. After he talked to her it seemed like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders and my little boy actually started talking again and his headaches deminished. We still have a long road ahead. However, we wouldn’t have even gotten this far had his doctor not recognized the signs of depression and anxiety! I love her for bringing my son back to me! She’s the best doctor in the world!

  426. Kathy Duffield

I would like to thank my sister. She is the stongest person I know. I helped Hospice her terminal husband at home….she never once thought of her needs and was always there for him. Day and Night..

  428. Kathy Williams

I would like to thank Amy & John Mersinger for all their hard work, time and effort in volunteering to be in charge of our school auction which takes all year to plan and organize. And with a family of three small children, it is a huge task to take on. Also they are very active in other areas of volunteering at our school. They are always giving!

  429. Amanda

I would like to thank my mother, Helen. She passed away in 1998, but I think of her every single day.
She survived many tough economic times in her life, was widowed at an early age and raised 4 upstanding and successful children through it all. She was the best baker too! We are planning our date now for carrying on her annual tradition of baking hundreds of gingerbread boy cookies; then we all meet and decorate the “boys” with homemade frosting to look like Santa! We do this each year and it is a great way to honor our mom!

  430. allyson ayala

i would like to thank my girls who have made my life full of joy and hapiness

  431. barbara wright

I would like to thank my neighbor. She has a wonderful relationship with her two grown daughters, so she always has wonderful advice for me about my own kids. My daughter thinks I’m brilliant – and it’s all because I do what my neighbor say I should do! And she’s been incredibly supportive of me while I’m struggling with my son’s mental issues.

  432. Ken Robinson

I’d like to thank my younger sister for supplying me with a place to live. Please accept my entry. Thank you.

  434. Josie Furtado

I would to be thankful for myself! I know it sounds silly but I have to really say that I have done so much for everyone and continue to do so. I have 3 grown boys and I am a single mother and I have worked hard to keep my family in tact! It’s been a struggle but I have come a long way and I’m proud of myself for doing it all on my own!:O)

  435. Jodi

I would like to thank my husband. He has always been so supportive of everything that I do. He willinly gave up a great job to move when I had the chance to build a career that I truely love. Then when I wanted to stay home with our children he worked long hours and provided a wonderful life for us. Now that he is the stay at home parent I don’t have to worry about anything. Our girls are well taken care of, the house is spotless, the yard and garden are well groomed, the pets are happy, and he has dinner ready many nights when I get home. I tell him all the time how great he is, but a special thank you would make his day.

  436. elizabeth p

I would like to thank my husband. He is a disabled Veteran who is currently attending college full time. He does not allow his disabilities to get him down! He is such a blessing in my life.

  437. TRACY HEYER

  438. Diane Baum

I would like to thank my husband Alan, who kind of through default recently inherited another role, caregiver! I fell on Oct 20 and broke 5 bones. Alan, with very few words of complaining has become my wonderful nurse-mate. Thank you and I love you

  439. Wanda

I’d like to thank my sister Barbara, for being my lifelong best friend, but also, more recently, for stepping up to the plate to handle a very volatile and distressing family situation involving a sudden illness. Her common sense and guidance are providing a “soft landing” for a recovering relative at a time when no one else was available to do so. She simply added this responsibility on top of those she already had. I commend her with great gratitude and respect, and I’d love to be able to send her fabulous cookies so she doesn’t feel obligated to bake this year!

  440. Allison

I am thankful for my grandma. She is always there to liston to me when i’m happy or sad. She’s the one who wipes away my tears no matter how silly the reason is that they’re there for. She’s the only one in my family who will let me call at midnight, and she won’t get mad even if she’s tired. When I ask her a question she’ll sit down and give me the full answer, not just give the shortest answer possible to get me out of her hair like all the other grown-ups do. She loves me for who I am, (no matter how annoying I am) and she would never try to change me. I love you Nana.

  441. Lauren

  446. Nancy Reiter

My girlfriend from church, she was one of the first persons I met when I moved to the east coast from Colorado many years ago. She has been there through thick and thin. I can call anytime and we can talk about anything.
    She is a great friend.

  447. Why would I choose to thank my kitty? Well, it’s because I always thank my relatives and friends, but Noel enriches my life too, and she never hears my gratitude!

Thanks, Noel, for being my friend and companion for the past 18 years. You’re the bestest kitty!

  448. Luann Hovis

For the true meaning of neighbor, you dont have to look any farther than across the hall to my friend Donna. She is the best example of what a neighbor and friend should be! Donna’s door is always open to anyone in need. She is always there with a hand to lend, or a snack, or an open ear! She has been there with a hug when I just needed to talk – she doesn’t judge you, she listens! And if you are hungry,, or cant fend for your self she is there with dinner or groceries. She will give you the shirt off her back if you are cold and be there with the hose if you are too warm! There arent words to express what she means to me and my family! We love you Donna! Happy Thanksgiving, and Thank You for being here! We love you!

  449. Estelle

To My Dad, Let me count the ways to thank you for being the hunter, fisherman and father that you are: You gave me the mountains, you gave me the springs, you gave me the jeep trails and so many other things. You showed me the fawn in the woods you showed me the deer in the night. You taught me about the forest and took me where the eagles take flight. I played with the feathered arrows, I pulled the handle on your shells, we ran the dogs on acres where apples picked we smelled. I saw the bunnies hoppin’ I picked the apples sweet, when I was older you took me out and you, mom and I shot skeet! You drove me over the waters, you pulled me on my skies, you always had adventure somewhere up your sleeves! Thank you Dad for always aiming to please!!! Love and Graditude, Flissa

  465. Gina Johnson

I’m thankful for my dad. He is a hard worker, one of my best friends, always there when you need him, a friend to all and one who loves me unconditionally. He and my mom were the perfect example of what parents should be. And were a perfect example showing me that marriage is a relationship of give and take. That as you work together as a companionship you can endure whatever trials or tribulations that arise in life. Thank you dad and mom for your example of what marriage and family can and should be.
My mom who passed away 4 yrs 10 months ago.

  466. Diane Lindblad

I would like to thank my Dad, Walt Janczewski. As the father of 8 children, my dad worked hard every day to make sure his family was happy, healthy and fed! Two months after my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Dad took care of Mom every day and was there on May 6, 2002 when he kissed her goodbye for the very last time. We are blessed to have such a loving, selfless and supportive dad. He is our rock and loved by all. He spends his time now volunteering at the local hospital, being an important part of our home parish (49 years now!), supporting his ever-growing family (he remarried last year after being ‘fixed up’ by the girls in our family) and he and his wife now travel up and down the East Coast visiting family and creating new memories. Not bad for a man who will turn 84 on Tuesday, November 17th. I Love You Dad, Thank You!

  469. Laurie Muzzin

I know this may seem a little bit tacky, but I want to Thank God for my Father still being a part of our lives! It’s a miracle he is alive and we are all very thankful. He is a kidney dialysis patient and cannot get a donor because he has a bad heart. He has had several heart attacks and a triple by-pass, so he can not endure the surgery it would take. If he could, he would have many in line to see if they could be the donor! That’s how many lives he has touched! I wish I could take his place, I’d like to see him happy again and pain-free.

  470. Margaret Stephens

I would like to thank my niece Rita for giving me her sweet little dog.

  471. Deborah Paige-Williams

I would like to thank my two daughters, Alexis and Ashley for accepting their medical conditions and keeping their faith that a cure is in the near future.

  472. Kimberly

I would like to give thanks to my sister Karen Arthur Young! She works hard at sharing through all the means at her disposal. She and her husband share all that they have with anyone that has need and they do that with grace and prayer! When she was standing in line at the local utility company, there was a young woman unable to pay her bill and Karen stepped up to help even though she was stretched as well. A young couple they met when their car was hit was given needed counsel about their surprise pregnancy as well as a a room to live in while they got on their feet. And they graced me a way to help pay for my insurance when I was off work fighting cancer! These are just a few of the times they have truly shared in the spirit of Thanksgiving! Thank you Karen!

  473. Holly B

I’d love to take this to work. I lost my job a few months ago and I greatly appreciate the fact that they gave me a job that I enjoy and paid more than my last one..so lucky!

  474. May Schultz

I would like to thank my husband for being so patient with me. He is generally a quiet, stay at home kind of guy. Happy just to watch TV. And on the other hand, I am outgoing, and NEED people to interact with, and so I’m involved in a lot of social activities, and volunteer at Hospice and other places, where I am with people.
He knows i need to be on the go, and I know he’s happy at home, but he accomodates me, by going with me to a lot of the places I go. We are married 60 years, and it’s been a wonderful like!

  475. Cynthia Muth

I would like to nominate Mrs. Brenner, my daughter’s 4th grade teacher, who keeps my daughter with learning disabilities on track at school. She updates me as many times a week or day as necessary to help my daughter not only pass her classes but succeed. She also came up with some items that my daughter could donate as her own to Operation Christmas as my daughters school told all students to participate but we could not because I have been unemployed too long. Teachers get paid so little and for her to give so much of her time and now money to help my daughter be like the other kids makes me very thankful at this very difficult time.

Moving to a new community is always difficult—you have to find a new…everything! I’d like to thank one of my new neighbors, Tammy, who made me feel welcome in my new community here in Alabama. She invited me to a luncheon group to introduce me to several ladies. At a follow-up meeting (which she couldn’t attend) she made sure I had a ride. She has been very helpful in suggesting services such as a vet for my dog and pedicures for myself. In the course of our busy days, most people are content to smile and say, “Hi”. Thankfully Tammy does more.

  600. Kathy Durbin

I would like to thank my daughter, Barb. I had to have emergency surgery. She hopped in her car and drove 5 hrs with her 3 children (7, 5 & 6 months). I was in the hospital for nearly two weeks and she spent every night with me, while other family & friends cared for her children, in addition to spending most days with me. When I was released from the hospital, she was at my home taking care of me (to include sleeping on the floor in my bedroom in case I needed something in the middle of the night) in addition to taking care of her children, cleaning, cooking, and taking me to numerous appointments. Once I was home her two daughters, my beautiful granchildren, also helped by being my “nurse” and “waitress”. She then returned three months later when I had another surgery to stay at the hospital at night again. I was very lucky and truly blest to have her help and support during such a trying time in my life. Without their help, I know my recovery would have taken much longer.

  601. Patty Harrington

  606. Debra F

I would thank my neighbor who watches my son after school. She is really doing us a big favor because I wouldn’t have anyone else to get my son off the bus and watch him until I get home from work. Not only that, but she works with him and gets all his homework done before I even get home, so that is one big battle I don’t have to worry about….I can’t tell you what a stress that is. Why are kids so much more cooperative for others than for their parents???

I would like to thank my parents. The last 3 years have been very hard on my family, both emotionally and physically. My SO fell off our roof doing some remodeling and broke both his wrists. He is in constant pain and unable to work more than 20 hrs a week without collapsing. My parents have helped to support us financially and emotionally. I can’t count the number of times I have called them just to cry when the stress of things got to be too much. They have always known what to say to make me feel better. Thanks!

I want to thank Pastor Don and his wife Cheryl. He is the fella who goes to the hospital when people are ill. He is the one who comforts people when they lose a family member, or their house burns down, and many other horrible situations. Cheryl is right there beside him helping her husband to shine a path for those who have lost their way because of sorrow and loss. I really appreciate their consistent, loving, caring, compassionate love for other people. They deserve thanks all year round.

  635. Kathleen

I would like to honor my friend Jean for always being ready to listen when I need a shoulder to cry on, being ready to give me a push when I need one, and being ready to celebrate with me when I succeed.

I would like to thank the office of Dr. Casadonte for keeping my son as seizure free as possible and often bending in lots of directions to do so.

  637. Misty Taylor

I would like to thank my mother-in-law Donna. She has been such an inspiration to me and has always been there to help when needed. Three years ago this month she lost her son and she inspires me daily with how she continues on and can still smile. This was a tragic time for all of us, but she has stayed strong and helped her other three sons during these times. I love her so much and I am blessed to have such a wonderful lady in my life!

I would like to thank my father. I lost my mother in 1993, and my father stepped right in to play the role of both my mother and father. He has been there for me through out the years, from my getting married, finishing up my schooling and having children. Now that my oldest is heading off to College, my father and I will finally have time to search for antiques and take little trips across the U.S. We will be enjoying a family trip with him to Myrtle Beach next summer and I can’t wait. Thanks pop, I love you!!!

  640. Clare

I would like to thank my friend Gloria. She was the Cub Scout leader to both my sons and, when they became Boy Scouts, helped them both to achieve Eagle Scout. She continues tirelessly as a Scout leader and has taken on numerous other roles in the community. She has helped “Save Sam” a civil war monument on our town common, helps the library, historical society, organizes trops and on and on. She has taught me alot about being a good parent and person and I truly appreciate all she does that she does not have to. If she gets these cookies she will most certainly share them with her cub scouts!

  641. karen

I would like to thank my daughter. She just received her honorable discharge from the Air Force and has returned home and now going to school full time to get her degree. She is going back to her high school and sharing her life, some of the mistakes she has made and many of her successes. I am so proud of her and how she is reaching out to the community. Plus, she is living at home and I can take care of her again, and the best part she is letting. I love being a mom. It is the best job I have ever had.
